The Reset · Private EMDR Intensive

What can take months of weekly therapy, worked through in focused days.

The Reset is a private EMDR intensive for people who can't disappear into months of weekly appointments, and who need the work done with absolute discretion. You don't get a session. You get a complete arc: prepare, process, integrate.

You’re not booking an hour. You’re booking an outcome-focused arc.

Every Reset includes the full ecosystem around the intensive, not just chair time.

We map what we'll target and build the regulation skills you'll use during the intensive.

The honest cost comparison

A Full-Day Reset is $2,900. Six months of weekly private-pay sessions costs roughly the same, spread across half a year of restarting each week. The intensive concentrates the work into days built around your schedule, with nothing filed on any third-party record.

Common questions

What can an EMDR intensive realistically do?
An intensive concentrates EMDR work that's often spread across many weekly sessions into focused days. Most clients experience meaningful relief from the specific events or patterns we target, though no responsible therapist can guarantee a particular clinical outcome. We'll define what we're working on together in the prep session.
How is this different from weekly therapy?
Weekly therapy spreads work across months, restarting each session. An intensive holds the focus, so momentum builds across hours and days rather than dissolving between appointments, which suits people whose schedules don't allow consistent weekly slots.
Is the cost worth it compared to weekly sessions?
Consider the math: a Full-Day Reset is $2,900, while six months of weekly private-pay sessions runs roughly the same, spread across half a year. The intensive concentrates that work into days built around your calendar.
Do you take insurance?
Intensives are private-pay by design. That's what keeps your care off any third-party record. I can provide a superbill if you choose to pursue out-of-network reimbursement, but nothing is filed on your behalf.
In person or virtual?
Both. Intensives are available in person in North Charleston and virtually across South Carolina and Alabama.
